Top Ten Tuesday for this week is about books that I’ve recently added in my TBR. The best place to go for this list is Goodreads so I just took a screen shot of the last ten books in my Want-To-Read shelf. I admit I have this bad habit of just clicking Want-To-Read even if I don’t really want to read a book, just so I could save it and have it as a choice if one day I find myself without anything to read (which is impossible, I know, but still!) I’m quite happy with the last ten titles I added in my TBR and thankful that they aren’t just some random titles I found in Goodreads! 🙂
Waiting on Wednesday is a weekly event hosted by Breaking the Spine where anticipated releases are featured 🙂 I honestly only have two for this month so we’re probably gonna have a short but sweet post here 🙂 Continue reading
2015 was a year of great book releases. But it was also the year I entered my senior year in law school and defended my thesis (which was my whole life during that time!) so I really didn’t get to catch all the good books published that year. There were so many anticipated books for me in 2015 but I just kept on adding them in my Goodreads TBR list without really getting into them. Anyway, here’s my top 10 of the books released in 2015 I meant to get into but didn’t! I really hope to get to read them soon! 🙂 Continue reading
The Thing About Jellyfish is my book club’s book of the month last December. I wasn’t able to get into it though, but I made it a point to make it one of my priority reads in January, and I am just so glad that I did. I had the PERFECT first book of the year! This is middle grade and I honestly didn’t set my expectation too high. But boy. It was good. Really really good.

WWW Wednesday is a meme hosted by Taking On a World of Words where you just have to answer the three W-questions! 🙂 It’s some sort of a quick reading update, too! The questions are:
- What are you currently reading?
- What did you recently finish reading?
- What do you think you’ll read next?
Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets by J.K. Rowling is my first read for the month and right now, I’m still halfway through it because real life has to happen. I plan to finish anytime this week as it is one of the books I intend to read during the #TBRTakedown 🙂 Continue reading
It’s 2016 and I am definitely going to start the year right by participating in another TBR Takedown! 🙂 I pretty much had a successful TBR Takedown 2.0 and I can’t wait to participate once more. I definitely want to seize all the time I have in the month of January before school starts again on its last week! 🙂
This read-a-thon is again hosted by Shannon over at leaning lights, and here’s what y’all need to know if you wanna join in too! 🙂
One thing I really like about the TBR Takedown are the challenges that comes with each day all through out the read-a-thon. They’re not required, but there are perks if you actually do them and send the pictures via Twitter. The information are all in the video above 🙂 Continue reading
